The 13-year $350 Million deal was on pause, but no one thought something would change, it just felt like a technicality that needed to be worked out. I mean how could this happen!? Well, it did, and before everyone woke up on Wednesday morning, the Mets had come to a new agreement with Carlos Correa for 12 years $315 Million. Still a massive deal, maybe not as big as the original yes, but still a ton of money.
The question is, was the Twins front office and ownership even awake when the deal happened?
